85% of the menu items are prepared by the staff on-site from scratch -- spaghetti sauce, cheese sauce, taco, all soups, and baked products. Also, we do make homemade dinner rolls, pizza, and many more items.

The goal of the Nutrition Services Department at York Central is to everyday offer to all students a nutritious, appealing, tasty breakfast and lunch. Students are our most important customers-daily they have the opportunity to express their opinions on the menu items offered. The input is very important because it is taken into consideration when developing the menus. A balance of fast food items versus the fork and spoon menu items is extremely important in order to obtain the overall nutritional goal of the program. Presently, all menu items are in the process of being analyzed for their nutritional content.

School Meal Prices: 

Parents, guardians, and grandparents are welcome to come and enjoy breakfast or lunch with their students. Please stop and register in the Elementary Office in order to obtain your visitor's pass.
